The ending of The Last of the Mohicans. - Pure movie magic. Absolute perfection. It's the medium at it's finest.

My name is Inigo Montoya. You killed my father. Prepare to die.

Armored Ultimatum - Brian Blessed is known to all as the guy who SHOUTS and is just so wonderfully intense and hammy andover the top. But he is also a truly great actor, and as it turns out is also far more imposing and scary when he is calm. So very, very calm. (the scenes seems to be sped up a bit on YT for some reason)

Stairway Shootout - this is how you build tention, and then deliver on it. Superb job.

I don't want my pain taken away! I need my pain! - yes, from that infamous movie. I know most people hate it, and I get some of the reasons. But dammit, that movie gets the trinity of the main characters better than maybe any other, and delves deeply into them, and their relationship. That scene explores and just "gets" them in a way I would not think even possible in a single scene. And it has a powerful message too

There are more scenes, and it's hard to narrow it down. I think that is my "top 5", but don't hold me to it in the future. It was a narrow thing, some came very close.

TARFU: The ending is pretty good, but I actually prefer this scene in that particular movie:

The only thing that movie needed was Steven Seagal.

JK. lol
but that is a remake too
its a remake of the 1925 original

I know, just not "Squareenix quality remake".
I was going to comment on how so many of these seem to be fight scenes, but then I saw this Yeah, I con't complain :D.
As for my own, I can't find a good version of it online, but the closest I get is this.
I try to limit to one scene per movie, otherwise I'd probably show snippets of the whole Robocop movie... These are not very original picks, I know, but they are still great. These tend to be older picks, back when I was more interested into movies.

In no particular order:

1. Robocop ending: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QvmFhcGCRzA

I recall when I was watching the movie with my ex-gf, even she said "WTF? Wow, quite good thinking from that old man!". It was scenes like these that made me feel the director is a genius.

2. Starship Troopers, landing on Klendathu: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Rx8_vjbXX4

Just. wow. Everything, the music, the gritty atmosphere etc.

3. Aliens ending battle: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YN16ySNZecg

Yeah Ripley, show the bitch!

4. Terminator bar scene: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2NDBVi3QdwU

I recall watching this with my big brother, and he had not figured out that Arnold is a robot when he was shot down the first time. He was like "Oh right, like he can just stand up like that after being shot with a shotgun...".

5. The Big Lebowski beginning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nV59cxMsFnU

"It's down there somewhere, let me take another look...". God damn, from that point onward you just knew you had an exceptionally good movie ahead of you. :)

6. Brazil, fight with the giant samurai: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYiiSxmT-p0#t=120

I just love that movie overall...

7. Alexander, fight with the Indians: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iYRi-Hbi2Sg

I think I skipped a few heartbeats when seeing the scene with the horse and elephant rising on their back feet...

Hm. Top 5.

How much can you know about yourself if you've never been in a fight? (Fight Club)

Ludwig van Beethoven. (Equilibrium)

Mad World. (Donnie Darko)

One last fight. (Green Street Hooligans)

I think I'm seein' something too. (Beavis and Butthead Do America)

For now.
Music is a major factor here.

Good call, I really loved that movie (and scene). When my wife saw the movie, she was like "Yeah! Show him! Kill him!" when the old man revenges the death of his son in that ending.

Somehow that reminds me to add one good scene from a more recent movie (as my earlier links were from quite old movies mostly):

Colombiana: "Just tell me sweetheart. What do you want?" "To kill Don Luis!".

Too bad rest of the movie wasn't quite as good as the beginning...

It's a strong candidate for my favourite movie of all. Back in the 80's and 90's Michael Mann was just phenomenal, a god among directors.
So, I read this: http://www.clickorlando.com/news/great-white-shark-breaks-through-diving-cage-on-video
