Is Leland Orser lending his voice in this game? I could swear I heard a guy sounding just like Leland when he does his crazy and psychotic characters in movies. IMDB doesn't say. But they also didn't listed Steve Blum's voice work in Rage either.

Thanks for the tip. Playing on PS4 for now tho. ;)

Since you're on PC... Have you tried this mod:

http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/619

Presents dialogue in the style of FO3/NV. Doesn't fix the limited nature of responses, but at least you know what your character is going to say before clicking. Very cool.

Nice mod but this mod still buggy if you're using gamepad (controller) on PC, some text just spread out off the screen usually for sarcasm and negative responses also I used 19 inch monitor so I couldn't tell if bugs gone while you're using bigger monitor.

Speaking of mod, I'd like to recommended Stalker's Lightning Mod after installing this I avoiding exploring Commonwealth at night, Can't see anything unless you activate pip-boy's flash light :D

I'm using Full Dialogue Interface (which is based on NewDialog), since it let's me keep the diamond shape form.

Also Easier Hacking with Options - Easy Lockpick - Guaranteed Pickpocket. I've been through the game once. I played the hacking / lockpicking minigame enough to skip it on the first try (you still need the corresponding perks).

Which is exactly what I hate on all the lightning mods, especially if they then claim photorealism.... also, comparing the before / after pics I dare to say, he made F4 look more like F3. :p
Good mod. Now all I need is a mod that removes the player character's voice-overs in dialogue completely. Then we can talk about me actually getting this game, at some point in the future.

In general, for those type of games, I try keep to always keep the vanilla experince for the first playthrough (then going fully-modded for subsequent playhtroughs). And actually, I got used to the minimal dialog system since apparently, apart from the choices of faction, dialogs don't seem really that important... I have more the impression of playing a mix between Stalker and Borderlands than playing an RPG....

Speaking of Borderlands, I got myself three legendary weapons with special effects, I think I'm overpowered for the rest of Fallout 4 now :o)

kblazer883: So your argument is:

I love the game
and have been waiting forever to play it,
therefore, it's perfectly ok to be emotional because it is not a big deal.

That seems like a counter-intuitive argument to make!

Crewdroog: it's a fucking video game. it doesn't matter in the scheme of everything. yes, that was my argument, good job you can read. why do you care? i'm not spending your money.
You will have to forgive the tardiness of this reply, my internet has been out for a while. I checked again and no one has said a thing about how you spend your money. I was remarking on the ridiculous nature of your argument for getting the game. See, someone can still read; oh, oh, and comprehend also!

Pheace: Thanks for coming into a fallout thread to share your opinion on that.

Mr.Caine: Seeing as how F4 turned more into a open world FPS then an RPG I suppose he was really compelled to make that comparison.
Sounds legitimate.

do you really have nothing better to do? go away. i honestly forgot about you.
It's amusing to me that certain people get, dare I say, offended that others are having fun with the game.

Different strokes I guess...

If you are not having fun with it, why are you bothering to read about the game in the thread then? The people posting about it here obviously like playing it, they could care less that you don't like it.

I haven't played it. I'm having fun watching the train wreck of Fallout 4's release. That costs nothing.

I'm sure Beth would love to always have this kind of a train wreck...

You should try not being so angry all the time, even though I find it humorous.

An expected response. Not the train wreck of which I spoke. I was referring to the lynch mob standing in town square armed with review blogs and torches.

Quality or quantity. You decide.
