So, like the title says, Fallout 2 will not load.
I am on the latest build of Win 10 (18362)

I Have not tried any external fixes, only the High Res Patch.

Just, nothing after the first screen that says "Start Game"

Anyone have a rational fix or explanation?

I just dont see why it wont load. I had an older build (3 years ago) of Win 10 and FO2 worked, so is that why?

Unless I'm missremembering, the GOG version of the game already has the High Res Patch installed. Have you tried running the game without adding the patch? Try to uninstall everything, and just install the GOG version.

Yes, already tried that. Several time in fact for the exact reason you implied - botched install. No go on that avenue.
