It's happening!!

I hope they can live up to 1. I'd be satisfied if I can just get more of 1. Evil Genius was such a great game :D

I thought I was out of games I really wanted a sequel for but damn this was always near the top of my list.

Sounds great. The first one was awesome, I still enjoy it very much. More Evil Genius is very much appreciated.

Rebellion is doing another Evil Genius?

They made Evil Genius:WMD for Facebook - that was horrible beyond belief.

Then they made Evil Genius Online - that was a really bad freemium title.

Now they're making Evil Genius 2 - well, I wish them luck and hope they learned from their mistakes. I'll keep an eye out and pray it's not another cash grab with ridiculous microtransactions. I'm not getting my hopes up until I learn more about it though.

Cut them some slack, Facebook/freemium games are shit by definition ;)

We'll see I guess. This is what they've said so far:
"We'd like to make this super-duper clear," wrote Rebellion in a press release. "This isn't a remaster. Evil Genius 2 will be a fully-fledged sequel and it won't be free-to-play."

The company went on to confirm the sequel will come to PC, though there is a possibility it will also come to consoles or mobile: "Our focus currently is on a PC release, but as ever we'll look at other platforms and see what fits and what doesn't."

I guess I need to play the first game at some point to form an opinion, but good to see many people praise the original. Maybe i will like it too.

"Too bad" I have so many other options too, games I should play. It is like having to decide with which gorgeous lady to have sex next, only better.

I'm cautiously optimistic. Unfortunately in these days of dlc everything, the henchmen unfortunately will make for 'great' dlc packages :P
