Error on launch of Escape from Monkey Island

EMI says:
MAke sure the game is properly installed or the CD is in the drive

Any ideas how to get this to run?

Invidia Grahphics card

You could try running it under ResidualVM.

Solved.
Can be only installed to C: drive.....

HOWEVER, now another problem;
none of the controls work, keyboard nor mouse.

Assuming that there is one, have you checked the monkey island sub-forums?

OH I've had too much turkey today.

Solved again:
I forgot, this game is keyboard controls only,
and not intuitive at all.
It's been many years since I've played it.
