No microtransactions. Also, in 4k plus. And will be in one solid bundle. No separate games to purchase. Development hasn't started yet but is supposedly going to get rolling soon.

Who thinks they'll muck it up? And/or is this a good thing? My opinion is that if it is done right and they stay to their word *cough* believe it when I see it *cough* then I will definitely purchase it.

Edit: okay I think it's only a few of them. Not all. But here is the link to the article:

Are you sure you didn't mean Mobile?
Sounds too good to be true. I won't be expecting anything.
They're remastering them twice? :P

Too slow. =)
I feel they will be careful with this, they got backlash from the C&C mobile game and after the heat they have had with Loot Boxes and Star Wars they know people will be watching them carefully.

This seems to be a move to give people what they want, bring back a classic IP, and to test the waters to see if the franchise is still viable.

No not all, Just C&C Tiberian Dawn and Red Alert, Tiberian Sun and Red Alert 2 might come later though.
Someone's learning.
Update: I have created a wishlist entry for CNC remastered:

Apart from C&C1 and Red Alert 1, I don't see the point. Red Alert 2 and Tiberium Sun are beautiful looking games even to this day, with some examples of the best 2d sprite work ever in a video game, plus they are compatible with all widescreen resolutions right out of the bag - all you need to do is edit the ini file in notepad. You can even get them in 4K resolution (though admittedly everything looks very small). The problem with 3D remakes of 2D games is, they tend to look soulless and bland, take Red Alert 3, technically speaking the graphics are very high quality, but they lack the familiar charm that Red Alert 1 and 2 had.

Basing on that linked article, those two will be remastered, there is nothing about other games from the series.

I wish it could have some good looking 2D graphics, like Starcraft: Remastered, but by some reason I assume that it will be:

a)Bringing whole games on C&C3/RA3 engine
or
b)Adding higher screen resolutions + changes in interface

Kinda shame that there are rather zero chances for some good remaster of Dune 2000. I like this game the most amongst all based on engine of C&C: TD, but the fact that infantry is in fact a bunch of pixels barely resembling people is a bit annoying (it's also one of those games where I would not recommend to play in higher resolutions (possible with OpenRA or GruntsMod edition)).

There was this whole CNC library sale back then (from C&C 1 all the way up to C&C 4) on origin.

Most games still works fine on Windows 10 x64.

The first C&C may be awesome at the time, but let's be honest it doesn't age well.

Red Alert, though, still moderately fun to play today.
I'll probably buy it ... As long as it gets released on GOG.
Cautiously optimistic for now.

Pity that they're not doing Dune2000 and more importantly Emperor:Battle for Dune as well. The latter could really do with a modern touch-up.

they are just remastering CNC 1 and RA 1, the reports of it being all games is wrong.
