Do you have to be online in GOG Galaxy to unlock all the new add-ins and DLC or will it unlock offline? I only play single player.

I asked support but never heard from them. I may have explained it in a way they had trouble with that time.

All paid single player DLC on GOG have to be downloaded. Once you've downloaded the offline (DLC) installers you can use them offline with no restrictions.

If a DLC is free and included in the main game then no unlocking is needed.

To install patches or DLC through Galaxy you have to be online, so Galaxy can access your account (to see you have the DLC) and download the required files. For new DLC you might have to go to the Settings page and check the box to trigger the download.

Another option is to download patches or DLC installers through the website (Backup Offline Installers) and install them like any other setup program, BUT it may be that Galaxy doesn't see that the game is patched or has more DLC. The game will work as intended, but Galaxy might try to download the stuff again at some point (because it doesn't know you already installed it).

Either way, once everything is installed, you can play completely offline.
