I downloaded a game just now and got 12MBs/s so the problem is probably on your side. Regarding the Downloader, you are right - it is not longer supported.

daCanucklehead: I was getting terrible download speeds for Call of Pripyat both on the website and galaxy (around 1mb/s when I typically get 10-15), so I decided to try out the gog downloader. I don't know if it's no longer supported or something as I'm a very new gog user but I cant even get past the login screen. I've double and triple checked my email/password for the account thinking I may have misspelled, but I can log in and out of my account on my browser no problem using the exact credentials I put into the downloader. Any ideas on what's going wrong?
It's no longer supported, but it still works. Used it just a couple days ago to DL the Bethesda games I picked up on sale.
