Has anybody had any success running GOG DOSBox games on a tablet, specifically Windows 10?

I have a LONG commute and wanted some strategy/RPG games to fill the time. It seems I can run GOG games fine as long as they don't use DOSBox. DOSBox games won't even open. I was really hoping to get those to work due to their smaller size and the opportunity to play some of the old classics in my backlog.

What kind of tablet is it?
I've seen questions about this before. I can't recall exactly, but I think it's because tablets don't support the resolution most dosbox games run at by default.

Edit the conf files for the games you're trying to play and set "fullresolution = desktop" instead of "fullresolution = original"

That will make dosbox scale the game to your current resolution instead of trying to change to one your tablet likely doesn't support. Hopefully that helps.
You need to use touch enabled SDL for dosbox to work well on your tablet:

It still isn't perfect, but at least the games start!

Ah nice! I knew a solution was posted at some point. But the forum search...yeah.
Actually the device is an RCA Cambio and I should have described it as a '2 in 1', or tablet with detachable keyboard. I'm using the keyboard/mouse, so the touchscreen workaround described in the other forum post addresses a different issue. The resolution setting does sound like a likely cause. I'll give that a try, but in the meantime thanks for the help!
