I'm looking for the title of the game as by topic. I only remember the proportions to be deformed and the atmosphere dark. Maybe the dolls were animated trough stop motion.
I remembered the setting was something like old China.

It was not a DOS game but an arcade from 1988 or 1989 with amazing graphics for its age. Its title was Reikai Doushi if anyone is interested.

The site Ultimate History of Videogames calls it "First digitized fighting game , first claymation game".

Hi, I'm sorry for being off topic, but since you hail from Italy: My mother has told me about an Italian horror/supernatural/mystery TV series which was shown on Norwegian TV in the early seventies. It had a whistled theme song, and she remembered a figurine of an owl or a real owl in it. It may have been a giallo series, but I haven't searched up any with an owl in it .. I don't know much more than that. Would you have any idea?

I love OT. You are describing "Il Segno del Comando", starring Carla Gravina, an actress I immediately associate to her over the top exorcism scene in "the Antichrist". I used to own a reproduction of the owl amulet from the series.
I'm learning from Wikipedia that the series was aired at least in Finland as well.

I am pleased to to know it was aired in Norway, back then Italian fantasy productions were still healthy. I knew about it thanks to a progressive rock band who went under the same title and even bundled the forementioned amulet with a limited edition of their album.

The only actual horror I see in that video is the simplistic and overly repetitive gameplay. =P

Thank you so much! I've been searching for an answer to this for a while. My mother was very young at the time, but she was absolutely thrilled by it and had to watch every episode from the edge of her seat.

You made my day :D

I'm happy to hear that. At least my self-answered post has served a purpouse. I have watched the series online many years ago in Italian, hopefully you'll find it in Norwegian.

Oh, that "OT"! =P

LOL And here I was overthinking it. I thought it probably meant something like "occultismo e terrore"...or something horror-related (because of the "Italian horror/supernatural/mystery TV series" thing). xD

Thanks StarChan, for making me look like an idiot. LMAO
