I've been trying to contact some one at GOG, but all I'm getting is an automated answer that is total rubbish. Every time I start to play Doom 3 I get a request to validate my serial number. I wasn't supliied with a serial. Is there any one who can help me with this matter?????

You mean the classic version I guess.

The BFG Edition does not need any serial. For the Classic version enter in your Library with the web browser and enter in the Doom 3 screen. You will find your Serial Key in the "more" menu/dropdown.

For future reference, tell the chatbot the issue is of type "other" twice, to skip to opening a support ticket.

As pointed out above, serial keys can only be viewed in a web browser. In your library, click the game, then the More menu, then Serial Keys.

It's the weekend. Don't expect to see your ticket answered for more than a week. If you actually submitted a ticket, you need to respond to the initial email to keep the ticket open.

I used the offline installer for the original Doom III and it hasn't asked me for a key. Are you running it through Galaxy or something?

I have both and I play both, I don't remember but I think the solution was mentioned above.
