I bought and installed Disco Elysium on GOG Galaxy (75% off at the moment) and installed it on two PCs of mine.
I'm not familiar with how GOG Galaxy handles cloud saves or what their support is like for it.

Is game progress shared between the two PCs, or are cloud saves limited to a single device?

If GOG Galaxy synchs cloud saves of a game across devices, does it have protections to prevent synch errors on one device overwriting progress on another?

How is GOG Galaxy support in resolving lost or corrupt cloud saves?

Should be across devices, provided the game supports cloud saves. I'm not aware of anything GOG support could/would do if your cloud save got lost or corrupted. Regarding protections across devices, GOG Galaxy will give a warning if there is a difference between a local save file and a cloud save file, and ask if you want to overwrite one with the other. That's about it.

How can you tell if a game supports cloud saves?

The game is installed on two PCs. Let's call them "Work PC" and "Game PC". When I look at the game's overview in GOG Galaxy, I see several hours of playtime on "Game PC" and only a few minutes on "Work PC". It looks like the game save has not been updated on "Work PC" yet.

What is the synchronization process like? Does GOG Galaxy do that separately or is the game only synched when you hit Play?
Game should sync when you start it/close the game.
