It's...not good. I think I remember there was a sewer level. It failed to leave much of an impression, but it used to be given as an example of a terrible FPS around here.

I was super looking forward to revisiting Turok until I beat a couple levels without finding all the keys, which meant I couldn't progress until I replayed those levels again and found the other keys. My desire to keep playing instantly died.

How have you pushed away shooters all this time?

Mount & Blade, Mount & Blade Warband, Mou.... but not that one with guns, which I think was multi-player only anyway. You may choose to use any weapon/s you wish, bow and arrows, crossbow and bolts, thrown weapons like javelins and knives. There are melee weapons too and I recommend having one even if you use the ranged weapon as your prime choice.

It's not like I've never played one ever, but I quickly discovered they weren't for me quite a while ago. I think it's pretty strange of you to assume that 99.99% of GOG users are shooter fans.

Well that's the point of my initial post. The OP's question isn't all that interesting seeing as how 99% of GoG users have been gaming for 15+ years, so it's easy to assume that majority of us have done everything in the genre and are now neutral to titles under it. This seems to be the case with most of the posts ITT.

I'd say there's more interesting discussion to be had around AAA modern shooters and why (presumedly) this particular community averts themselves away from them.

I keep trying those games but I can never figure out WTF I'm supposed to be doing. :P

for some reason I don't want to play Quake 3 or Unreal Tournament ( Any of the games ) anymore... I have no idea if it is a 20+ year constant burn of non stop playing those 2 or I just really hit the point of, ok' I think I can move on to something different now...

Overwatch is a last stand on the FPS market for me. And that is dying really fast on me cause no one plays as a team on a team based shooter.
