I backed the Divinity: Original Sin 2 Kickstarter and as part of my reward I received an extra GOG code for the game.
I thought my brother might like it but he is not interested (the miserable git) so I am going to give it away to one of you lucky Goglodytes instead.

If I were a character, I'd probably want to be Doom Slayer (AKA Doom Marine) from Doom 4.

The amount of badassery and the amount of demons to kill is so enthralling! O_O

Ooooh. Very generous giveaway. I'm tempted as I'm really enjoying the first one but I doubt it would run on my laptop, or any computer I'm likely to own anytime soon. So I think I'll be out and leave it to someone who can make use of it better.

As for the question... it kind of depends whether we are the character in our world or theirs...

I would love to be... Rayman. ;)
I mean, if you played a Rayman game, then I guess you would know why.
He's an always smiling fellow, running around, jumping happily and sometimes punching some naughty creatures in the face in a beautiful , magical land, which doesn't seem to be that much dangerous and definitely must be a pleasure to journey through.
He's got some crazy friends like Globox , oh and those fairies, which he pursuits in Rayman Origins, are pretty hot too. ;)

Definitely I would pick that over a dangerous and "realistic" life of a hero of RPG games (e.g. would you like to be the Nameless hero of Gothic?).

I'm in. Perhaps the most banal choice...but I chose Geralt from Witcher, because he spends a lot of time with beautiful ladies, also he has a talking horse and personal winery .

I'd like to be Samus Aran. She's a total badass in her suit, murdering criminals for cash. Destroying entire planets worth of space pirates. I'd love to get her in the same room as the Doom Marine... If I was a video game character, I would be The Nameless One from Planescape: Torment. There's just something about immortality and being almost indestructible that appeals. Looking like a corpse would be a major downside, though :/

I would be Alex Mercer from [PROTOTYPE]
He can blend in like Agent 47 by imposing as some else.
He can sprint and has superhuman strength.
I personally loved that game.
My favorite part was I can jump from building with rocket launcher in hand then glide in air and sprint twice before shooting rockets to helicopter.
