If you feel like some of our Insomnia deals disappeared too quickly, we’ve got good news for you! For the next 24h, we are speeding things up. Insomnia Rewind starts now, with deals that will change every hour giving you the next chance to buy great games with extremely deep discounts.

Remember, the games you’ll see during this event were already present on our Insomnia Promo, giving you a clear hint of what’s coming. ;)

Whaaat?
1 hour for a deal? And random order?!
I thought the whole rewind thing is supposed to give a second chance for non-insomniac ones!

Totally agree. Having only one hour and random order basically kills the point (especially if you're hunting for only one title)
Well!, this is what the (apparent) insomniac's wanted...
Aw crap, I'll have to check every hour for Van Helsing and hope it won't come up during my sleep. Well now it will at least deserve the name of Insomnia promo. :)

To everyone in the same conundrum I am: You can at least raise it up to TWO hours if you check a bit before the time offer A ends and the beginning of offer B, then the end of offer C and the beginning of offer D...

Fight...For your right....to buying.
One said "you have my sword", "you have my bow", "you have my axe".
I will say "you have my stick"
It's a good one...stick...tap...tap...gog...tap...tap.

Or you can raise it up to four hours, if you do alternate shifts with a friend, partner or family member...
One minute per deal would also work for non-insomniacs and be close to the old, true Insomnia sales.

No it's not. Rather, we wanted all the deals to be posted again at the same time, and for the whole rest of the duration of the sale, like GOG often does with other former flash deals at the end of previous seasonal sales.

my understanding was you'd bring back all the deals for 24 hours, but this is just pissing on the shit cake. well done, way to end the sale with a bang...
How about rewinding all the way back to a time when I can buy all of the games you've removed over the years? :)

lmao :D

a six long hour deal with a million copies and clearly predictable next deal: "OMG this is not insomnia like the old days, GOG failed again hurr durr!"

random game, lower number of copies, one hour deal just like the old insomnia: "Noooooo! We want the same thing we had the entire week! GOG failed once again hurr durr!"

-GOG forum crowd, 2022
Wish i had some cash spare.

:O

ITS JUST LIKE THE FIRST INSOMNIA!!!

Except this "Rewind" is not "just like" the old Insomnia, because:

- the discounts are much worse in the new one, most of the time

- very few of the titles featured in this sale are premium/highly popular ones

- these "Rewind" games are not really "random," since they are just a regurgitation of some of the same exact games that have already been featured over the past few days; there is nothing new or surprising coming.

etc.
