MightyPinecone: I'm fairly certain I have a video or two up on youtube that would never see the light of day again, were I to remove them.
avatar
mystikmind2000: Probably, but if you did remove them would you bet your life it is not on the internet somewhere? Would you for example offer a million dollar reward that they could only collect by shooting you in the head? No matter how obscure or boring the upload was, i know i would not be making that kind of bet.

You always have to assume its on the net, even if the reality is that it is not, but you can never know for sure... that's the problem.
Nah, I feel fairly safe that no one has specifically choosen to save them, but there is always the possibility that they would still be around on some server somewhere. But really, unless there was a significant reward for finding them, I don't think they would see the light of day ever again. The internet forgets, there is just no telling exactly what it forgets.

Yeah, the politicians of tomorrow are gonna have a tough time, no doubt. ;)

Kleetus: Freaking hate YouTube on my Android TV, no way to turn off Autoplay.
YouTube autoplay is one of the most annoying Internet "innovations" ever.
I really can't see how anyone can actually like that feature.

Not sure whether it's a good or bad thing, but autoplay even means less commenting on videos, and if they actually have the commenting feature one would assume that they would try to make commenting as easy as possible.

Hahahaha, well if i was to become a politician i will first become a rap artist, do drugs, assault someone, get arrested, then become a politician and after all that, the rest wont be interesting!

Oh yea.... how many times i have been in the middle of reading an interesting comment and boom - get Fxxxed off somewhere else and then have to go back and find the comment again. That is SUPER annoying

Hah, yeah that would probably be the best way to go about it. Just be open with your criminal record and—if they accept that—it'll be smooth sailing from then on!

Google like it because of ad revenue.

I just went on YouTube and did a search for Mighty Pinecone and now I'm saving all the videos: Not so mighty now.

xD
I have been exposed! Luckily I have a tendency to switch aliases between one place and the next. Still, I originally picked MightyPinecone specifically because I was tired of every name being taken and I thought this rather random name (that still made sense) would not be. Whilst it held true for this site, it seems I was not as original as I thought. I haven't put my face on the internet since I was in my teens though, so good luck finding that (I can't even remember the name of the site I posted it on).

Or i could simply do it like Trump and deny everything, even what i said five minutes ago! , seems to work?? lol

Yeah, Trump seems to have made a significant amount of political no-nos and still managed to come out on top. With the risk of turning this thread into the usual political shit fest, I'm not quite sure what he could do now to repell his voters at the moment, besides profess his alliegiance to Satan. But I think that what may really bring him down is him simply failing to deliver on his promises. He has made possibly the most grandiose promises I've ever heard from a politician—superlatives all over the place—so it could come back to haunt him. But then again perhaps not. To me, Trump supporters seem to gather around the idea he represents rather than the man himself, which could explain how he can get away with things that would bring down almost any other politician.

Yea, i would like to comment but will leave it for now until the purpose of the thread quietens down, then i might come back.

It all makes sense now. But I agree, auto playback of music or video on any website is highly annoying.

What's weird though is they let you disable Autoplay on PC and Android mobile, but not on Android TV.
Oh, hey! All of a sudden the numbers are back, and the channels are actually sorted by how many unseen videos I have (they refused to do that earlier). One of you fuckers did something, didn't you? Whoever you are, thanks!

I'm going to assume it was Kleetus, threatening the Youtube devs with an intimate time.
