It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

I used ublock origin. Yet on some sites I would get those pop up adds in the middle of the screen.

Also, I set it to restore tabs, but for some reason when I went to close firefox it asked me if I wanted to close my tabs, which makes no sense since that notification isn't supposed to show when you select restore tabs.
Sounds more like you've got a PUP there, but that wouldn't make sense, considering your other thread.
What's a PUP?

Oh, I see, potentially unwanted program.

Can we just take a moment to appreciate how hilarious the name 'potentially unwanted program' really is? It's like "sure, it's possible you'd rather not have a piece of adware hijacking your browser, but who knows? Maybe you like having more ads in your life."

There are loads of other examples. I mean if you use Windows then cortana, onedirectory, windows store, edge/is. In fact half the install is PUPs and very hard to get rid of.
