I found the article in a local paper, Stevnsbladet.

Rough translation from the article:
Archaeologists from Museum Sydøstdanmark Denmark have found a gigantic enclosed space at Rødvig on Stevns. The fence dates back to Neolithic times and seems to frame an oval area of nearly 18,000 square meters, writes videnskab.dk.
Most remarkable are its entrances. The fence is actually constructed in rows outside of each other, five to be exact, and the entries in each of the rows appears to be offset from each other. As in a kind of labyrinth.
Here's a Photo of the article.

Sorry about the low quality. The center of the photo is a field, the green circles are the fence and to the right you can spot some houses, which gives an idea of its size. What is this thing? The article suggest that it may be a sun temple. However, with Rødvig being a small fishing village, a more sensible explanation would be someting related to Cthulhu worshipping.

This reminds me of that Ancient Chinese Secret they recently discovered: Calgon.
Probably a place where human sacrifices were perpetrated...maybe it's even connected somehow to the myth of the Minotaur...
Neolithic was the period we started domesticating animals I believe. Maybe it was some sort of cattle pens?
Did they uncover any relics pointing to a temple as you mentioned?
Mr. Mulder, *they*'ve been here for a long, long time.

Narh, so far they only found a bit of ancient garbage - they only talk about sun temples because a pair of those were found at Bornholm: http://www.kulturarv.dk/1001fortaellinger/en_GB/rispebjerg
It's a bug in the matrix, nothing to see here, please move on...
You're all wrong. It's a deeply buried codewheel copy protection device for "proving" you actually owned a copy of the original Zork.
Actually, it's just the Danish training grounds before they take over the world. Canada has one too.
Probably a place of meeting between the first men of the North and ancient gods. They sacrificed virgins to cruel abominations hidden in the dark corners of the Earth to summon unholy powers.
The good old time...

No, it would not :-p

Ah, a small misunderstanding there, I fear. Neither of us want to take over the world. We are simply both preparing to go to war with one another, you see. We have a long-standing territorial dispute, which has proven impossible to solve by diplomatic means. Soon, it is time for other means to come into play.

It's our island, dammit!

really impressive that still new old stuff gets found these days - i guess while some old cultures like the romans are kinda well researched there is still many knowledge gaps about others
is there any official explanation of what is it yet? That's very interesting
No, as far as I cound search, still no explanation!

However, I did dig up the original article:
