We’d like to inform you that, due to publisher's request, Lifeslide will be delisted from our catalog on Wednesday, November 9th, 2 PM UTC.

For everyone who purchased this title prior to delisting, it will remain in their GOG library.

Wasn't this game just announced a couple of days ago?

Most likely some communication breakdown between the devs and publisher.

Yep, just 2 days ago.

That game disappeared way faster than Death Gate which was up for about 3.5 months.
Are they testing us for interest in the game or something? Whatever the reason, I took the bait. :)

A few years ago I created a thread titled Shortest Game lifespans?

The shortest time between listing and delisting I could find back then was 5 days, so I believe we have a new record.
Maybe they'll re-release it at a later date...or they'll pull their other games in a couple days as well. :P

Removed ATONE: Heart of the Elder Tree from my wishlist, that erratic behaviour isn't exactly reassuring. Don't want to buy a game where the devs stop caring about the gog userbase after a couple of weeks, which is the impression I get after something like this.
I might be wrong and they simply released the game at a wrong date, which I somewhat doubt.

The game seems okay, so far. Played it a little while.
This is weird indeed. Does it have GOG-release-related bugs that the dev has decided they don't want to fix? (E.g., mandatory Galaxy requirement due to poor coding, etc.)

Are you able to tell us if it was pulled because it's unsafe to run? Should I request a refund? If it's safe to play, I'll keep it. That's awfully fast for an unlisting.

Basically, the publisher released the game without the developers knowing anything about it. For example, the leaderboards don't work properly because there is no real build dedicated to GOG. Anyway, it seems that they want to release the game on GOG as soon as they fix the bureaucratic and technical problems.

Thanks. I'll keep the game, then. Don't care about being able to compete. I'm more of a co-op guy.
You really should give us 24 hours MINIMUM.

Bruh, NOTHING can beat Devotion! That one managed to get delisted even before release. In a sense, it had a negative lifespan.

They were going to sell Hatred, too, but they received many complaints from gamers about that. If you want it DRM-free, you have to go to another store.
We hardly knew ya ...
