Hello. First time here. Just wondering if I was still able to play co-op with friends whilst using DRM-free versions. Specifically Yooka-Laylee. Thanks in advance!

Depends totally of the game implementation, some games allows to play with Steam owner, other only works with Galaxy users, and other have a LAN option that can be used with Hamachi or other similar VPN system.

The best would be to ask directly Yooka-Laylee devs to know what they plan to implement for that game.

Well, if you're friend is local you can always tell them to get their butt to your place for couch coop. The game is confirmed to have it.
