I was just wondering how I can tell if a game sold here is controller compatible or played on the keyboard?

Look at the game features on the right of the storepage for "Controller Support".

Check a game forum too. Sometimes storepage is out of date.

And sometimes even that can be a crapshoot; seeing as not all controller compatible games are compatible with the controller you bring, unless you have a multimode controller like the 8Bitdo.

For example, Fez in it's infinite wisdom is only Xinput compatible.
