i had trouble replying to someone in my post from earlier for some reason, so i'm trying writing a new one instead.

I seriously cannot find any other way of getting here besides the link in the witcher contest post on the store.
Does nobody know or am i missing something so obvious that people think i'm trolling?
Is there something missing from or wrong with my galaxy?
I assume many users posting are using galaxy so somebody must know.
Please help:)

Also why is writing a post so non user friendly, i can't mark and copy sections, or paste in text for that matter.
I like the galaxy app but it could certainly be better...

There's your answer I suppose. Forum is not really integrated with Galaxy. I'd suggest using website if you'd like to be active on forum.
But i'm here now, via a link...so it works?
It can't be that bad, not saying it's easy to manage a site like gog and an app like this but come on,
that honestly comes across as a bit lazy....
I'm pretty sure by now that they've decided by design to cut off GOG forums and profiles from Galaxy.
The most plausible reason is that they want Galaxy's user base to be as large as possible and the forum wouldn't make a good impression, populated as it is by trolls and whiners.
That could be, although that still seems weird since most people like to have easy access to communication with other users.
A place to get and give advice regarding games and such is generally a good thing,
regardless if there are some trying to derail it.
Steam forums have millions of users and has existed for a long time, and is nowhere near the hellscape that is twitter.
If I'm following this, you'd like forum integration into Galaxy? That would be something for the developers to consider, I think.
Regardless, you can always log into your account through your browser of choice, in order to access the forums.
Of course:)
However i installed galaxy for ease of access, and so then i have to log out of that and in to the site just to comment,
and then back again.

Is it necessary to log out of Galaxy in order to log in through your browser? Or is it that when you try to use your browser you are automatically logged out of Galaxy?
Unfortunately i have to log out and in every time.
It's always been that way for me.

Why didn't you say that in the first place?

So... contact support. Also, there's a dedicated Galaxy subforum.

I thought it was like that for everyone,
makes sense that you can't log in with the same account 2 places at once,
can't think of other places where that's possible?

Anyway, been looking around and it appears that a community tab is something more and more people want.
Perhaps if there are enough requests on the wishlist-galaxy tab, it just might happen:)

You can log in on both mobile and desktop, at the same time. Hence my previous questions.
I am not using Galaxy, therefore I can't test if this theory applies to it as well.
Works fine here... I haven't logged out of the website and Galaxy in a long time.
Ok, but why would i want to do that?:) (using galaxy on desktop btw)
When i boot up the pc, galaxy is right there in the system tray.
It's basically all there, except for access to the community.
On steam it's 1 click away and integrated well with the games etc.
It makes zero sense to me why the option wouldn't be there
to bring together users of primarily the site and the galaxy app.

Please give me a good argument as to why one should -have- to go 2 different places regarding the same thing?:)
A thriving community will only benefit gog and help it grow and stay competitive.

I bet you use a web browser more often than any gaming client. And the forum existed long before Galaxy.
