After making the Commandos series, Praetorians and Imperial Glory, Pyro Studios left the PC market and refocused on making casual games for IOS and Android. Now they have sold all rights to all their PC games to Kalypso Media.
This deal not only includes the trademarks and rights to make new games in the Commandos series but also all the copyrights and publishing rights to the old games.
Since we do have Kalypso Media here as well I do not expect the games to disappear. But since Pyro Studios no longer has the right to distribute the games and re-negotiation of contracts sometimes do fail it would be wise to get them before it might be too late if you have any of the games on your wishlist.
