Day one purchase, for absolutely-fucking sure.

Not as grimdark though.

The protagonist actually looks like how the Emperor is often depicted.

this looks like a sci fi version of slain. so it'll be a day one buy for sure.

I have Slain on GOG, played it only a couple of times by 15min sessions.

I don't like platformers.

I will buy Valfaris the very second it appear on GOG.

F**k Iron Maiden game (just check it out), f**k Ion Maiden game, f**k Victor Vran Motorhead game - the TRUE heavy metal game must be like Valfaris.

Well, that's by design afaik. I've liked slain for what it was, despite a rather rocky launch. But the dev kept to his word and fixed a lot problems post-launch. I imagine they learned a lot from Slain and so Valfaris would have a smoother launch.

I liked Slain, so I'll be getting this one. These games are like playing your way through a death metal album.

Now this looks really dope. I hope the gameplay & level design will be on par with the artistic design.

Slain is an amazing title and this looks amazing as well. Love the graphics, "stunning" is right-on. I also love the atmosphere of these games; this one reminds me of some of the more sci-fi themed death metal music that has come on strong in the last five years or so (this isn't the Metal Thread, but I will look forward to playing with Wormed, Blood Incantation, and the new Tomb Mold album in the background).
