ReynardFox: I just tested two browsers, one has its cookies set to the USA region (I checked and can see other region locked games), the other local, it just doesn't exist to me for either.

Don't tell me it's Europe only or something crazy...

Edit: Maybe something has broken in my USA-set browser, I can't see hotline miami 2 anymore either.

I don't have a VPN anymore either, this is just great.
Hotline Miami 2 owned cant see it or not owned cant see it?

Id be pretty "upset" if after I bought it, it gets blocked without telling me in advance.

edit....forgot Upset. REALLY changes the context lol

The remake for the first one was absolute fucking dogshit garbage shit trash and i expect no less from this one aswell, Sega, just like with Streets of Rage 4, just outsourcing sequels and remakes to woke shit dev studios, or absolutely garbage tier skilled ones like with the previous dead house remake. They have neglected to port & re-release the original old games for decades, and they pulled down the original sonic games from steam, they cease & desisted the amazing streets of rage remake while greenlighting sonic fan projects, while utterly choking the creative freedom out of artists, devs, writters for anything sonic, and forcing censorship and harsh rules that stiffle imagination, all the while pumping out garbage mobile games, sega can go fuck themselves far as im concerned, loved them as a kid, hate them as an adult. Decades ago my cousin gifted me a CD of the first house of the dead game, but i saddly broke it accidentaly, so never got to expierience it, *Sigh* i hate myself so much for it... not that i was able to play any of the other gifted games anyway cause my pc sucked ass :/ ...

jesus :D

try meditation and breathing exercises, also tea :D
Not that I would really be interested in the remaster, but I'm a bit curious and this seems really unclear: what kind of HID is this planning to support? Any light-gun support planned, if so how / which ones ?
That would seem to me to make or break this game…

Streets of Rage 4 was pretty good though, wasn't it?
I personally don't like the style much and haven't actually tried it, but from I gathered it seemed quite OK.

(also, even if the exception to the rule: Sonic Mania)

I own it, it's just that outside of my library it simply does not appear to exist on the store.
I can't even remember when I thought of the original one. not sure if that happened in this century. I don't think so. haha. oh dear.. playing games back then was such a different thing it is today but.. I'm glad GOG, thanks!
Keep Sega stuff coming!!

timppu: Yeah and does it have gamepad support?

(I have that game as a physical PC-version...)

Oriza-Triznyák: Are you guys talking about the japanese exclusive PC versions ?
edit: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KGK4KBzEQLw
i have this one, and it doesn't seem that exclusive to Japan:

Since PCs don't or didn't have lightguns for a genuine House of the Dead experience (you could use a mouse but it wasn't the same), I felt it was a brilliant idea to replace lightgun shooting with typing. Hey, that improved your typing skills as well!

Pretty good? No it was pretty dogshit. Outsourced to a woke french company that made a complete disgusting mockery of it, it was atrocious, i waited 20+ years for a 4th game, and thats what we got? Goddamn it all to hell.

Good to see this coming to GOG. Enjoyed this alot on the Dreamcast with the Light gun. Will see how the remake turns out, hopefully it will include the original game mode found in the Dreamcast version. Possibly add some tweaks to the mouse if this is the only means of control for the game.

I would never go back to Tower PC again : )

I played HotD2 on Riva tnt2 32MB : )
and wonder how Radeons Desktop <=> Mobile Comparison goes.?

The Air mouse (gyroscope mouse) is a lot of fun. Nearly the light gun, but based on your moves, and pretty blind ^°

Afrter watching the trailer on Steam, my expectations are significantly lowered. I was expecting something better than this, the whole game is monochrome brown now, and those ragdolls look ridiculous. Legit would have been better to just upres the original version and call it a day.

Sounding like you dodged a bullet better than the magician there by not buying.
WoW, surpised to see this one getting a remake. Though it looks unimpressive. >_>

THOTD2 was one of the first Dreamcast game that I played on the system, what a time it was.

So, what makes it so bad? The handling, performance, hit boxes, stage design, story…?
Could you give more details?

Did you actually play it or just make assumptions based on trailers? I hated the colourful Nickelodeon-esque art style, especially the way my boy Axel looked and it put me off trying the game for years, but, when I finally did bite the bullet and play it, I found it to be a really, really authentic SOR experience. While I still wish it had gone with a gritty 32-bit pixel art style instead, the game we got has responsive controls, fluent, traditional SOR style mechanics with some nice, subtle expansion, great animation, solid impact feedback and an absolutely killer soundtrack that solidifies the rage atmosphere. Axel is a beast in this game.

Also, I am one of the first people to switch off at the first whiff of identity politics in a game, and I came across nothing that I would decry as woke at any point in my playthrough.
