Space Haven is coming soon DRM-free.

Embark on a space journey with your patched-together crew of civilians in search of a new home. Build spaceships tile by tile, create optimal gas conditions, manage the needs and moods of their crew, encounter other space-faring groups, and explore the universe in this spaceship colony sim.

Check out the game's Kickstarter campaign.
Looks like it could be worth keeping an eye on. Aesthetic reminds me of the old X-Com, but with less combat oriented gameplay.
Please be good. Looks like 'just my game' (tombstone?)

Yeah, I totally see the old X-Com in this. Makes me wish for a slight graphical update to openxcom along these lines.

Looks interesting.
I don't think it has you control the combat the way you'd do it in X-Com, but the simulation seems more in-depth for other parts. Environments, personalities, buildings, etc. Pretty cool.

Openxcom is the gift that keeps on giving. Seems inevitable that it'll get a graphics pack some day.

This reminds me very strongly about Spacebase DF-9 from Double-Fine, but this time finished.
Will probably buy once it´s out.

Hey there! Dev here.

This really is our dream game for us. We have been working on it close to 3 years now, building the architecture to support a lot of depth regarding character and gas simulations. Building is completely free, tile by tile and the game is basically fully destructible.

We've been running a Kickstarter for the game and it has been going great! We're well over 300% funded on our $40k goal with over 10 days to go still. Streamers and Youtubers have been trying out the alpha and helping us highlight the game.

Here's some great game play explaining the various systems in the game:

Alpha access starts mid April for Alpha Crew Member backers of the Kickstarter campaign. We will then develop the game further and eventually release here as well :)

Looks pretty interesting. I don't do kickstarters, but I'll check on it soon as it is is released and a few reviews are out.

You certainly seem to deserve a successful game so good luck with sales.
I see now that you do have direct control in combat, with real-time with pause instead of turn-based. Kind of a subdued X-Com tone to everything, including how practical building things seems to be; this is starting to look really good.

Thanks for posting here, that bodes well for the GOG version! I would have been skeptical i you were still at the planning stages, especially with the amount of money you were initially aiming for, but it's clear that you're pretty far ahead in development already. It really has the look of a passion project to it, which is a big plus. Best of luck!

Hello, developer. Your project here is a sight for sore eyes, especially after the betrayal of Judas to the Epic Store. (In reference to Phoenix Point.)

Yep! GoG has confirmed we will be able to offer a GoG key instead of the Steam key if a backer wants that instead.
