deathwings51: This looks very similar to Curios Expeditions and Renowned Explorers. I am all for it.
exactly my idea: it looked familair :D but couldnt remember the names now i know why i had a feeling of deja vu.
btw 8 GB ram = a lot for a game that gave me the first impression was developed using RPG game maker the way the npc move and many more remind me of rpg maker games, or at least a unity build game :D
8 GB here max 16 gb possible for win7 64 bit, only have 8 because well they ware the last modules otehrwise i had 16 gb, thats why i want at least 16 gb for my win 10 pc and a mobo that can handle at least 32 gb cause i hate low ram, and iwant as much as i can afford which is 16 gb,
Anyway today they need high req. for games looking like adbanced AMIGA games but with millions of colour , thats all. i am sure 90% of all indy games and other small developers games ( not talking about AAA games) can lower the min req and the rec. req, and cut in ram i mean common 8 GB :D thats too funny to read....
TentacleMayor: Strategy-RPG, pixel art, obvious Indiana Jones influence, runs on my craptop.
Vainamoinen: Your craptop has 8 GB of RAM? Because my deskturd hasn't.
But this just has to be a cruel typo. Trying to get confirmation from the developers.
8 gb thats a nice laptop ;D most people i know have one with 4 or so.
nice laptop.
buddhameeple: Graphics look cool but 8Gb RAM seems like an overkill...
Hollyhock: Yep.
I hate when "retro style" 2D pixelart games end up requiring a modern computer, by overusing shiny graphical effects, choosing a resources hungry engine, or God knows why.
I enjoyed Halfway quite much. I love the concept and looks of this game and I would have bought it on launch day. But my laptop won't be able to run it and my desktop PC will probably have trouble with it.
I really hope they add a "low graphics" option that alleviates system requirements. Meanwhile, I'll pass.
same here game looks pretty good but tehre are too many buts:
- the exploding bits and eye hurting effects,
- looks like made with RPG maker or similar tool
-, the map the way the chars move ....- i guess 98% its developed with unity , i prefer custom engines cause i have bad experiecene with unity and i know for sure that even a latest i5 with a better gpu win 10 and lost of ram wont make uniy games run better.
