Nice, been waiting for this. As already mentioned is there any chance of the freeware remake of Star Control 2, Free Stars Ur-Quan Masters being released here as it is on that other site and the original is also sold there.

I'm crying, the best game series in the world finally getting a well deserved sequel. Please let it be good repeated a million times for me and everyone who experienced this fantastic series. It has to be perfect in order to be worthy.

Being as good as Star Control 2 was won't be easy but I have faith.

Free Stars: Children of Infinity is an open world space game, and the upcoming sequel to The Ur-Quan Masters (also known as Star Control II or Free Stars: The Ur-Quan Masters). The game began development in 2021 under Pistol Shrimp, a new studio co-founded by Star Control creators Fred Ford, Paul Reiche, Ken Ford and Dan Gerstein. As the copyright holders in the original story, Reiche and Ford intend to continue the saga from the previous games' events. It is planned for release in 2025
