Dead Cells: Rise of the Giant is coming soon DRM-free.

Rise of the Giant will be a free DLC for Dead Cells, introducing plenty of new, high-level content. Yes, Dead Cells will become even more challenging.

Prepare for new levels and bosses, enemies, weapons, skills and additions to the story and lore of the game and... character skins, including christmas tree skin. Because, why not?

Hmm... this is interesting. But I doubt I'd "git gud" enough for the new content.

Game's still on my Wishlist, though. Hoping it goes on sale soon *wink*.

I bought this here InDev, one of the few (CrossCode being the only other one I can think of) I purchased before release, and liked it so much I also bought it on Switch.

This content doesn't look like it's for me, this and Sundered are both Metroidvania games I just can't seem to beat, but it's nice to see the added content for people who suck less than me.

Usually games that are just ridiculously hard don't appeal to me, but this game got it right, a kind of masochistic fun that you can enjoy even while failing over and over again.

Great news! Also, despite the marketing, I feel the trend with this game has been more about re-balancing and re-working, as opposed to purely upping the difficulty. Or maybe I'm just naturally that much better at it ;) No, but seriously, this is a very welcome addition to an excellent base game.

Allez les gars, un p'tit GOG Connect et je relance votre jeu (qui m'a bien baisé quand j'ai buté le boss final, choppé le loot mais oublié l'orbe), ça me convaincrait de m'y remettre! :D

Just when I thought I was finally out of my Dead Cells addiction... time to relapse.
I still needed to beat Nightmare Mode in the original game, the new patch should make it slightly more feasible! :P

Man, I love this gamne.

Try again. The DLC decision was on the dev's part, not GOG's. It's also a separate DLC on Steam.
