Wow, they were never one of my favourite bands, but Hybrid Theory and Meteors were great albums.
That's a big lose, especially considering he was so young.

Close friend of Cornell, wrote letter to Cornell day he died, today Cornell's birthday? Both die by hanging.....Some people need to take a hard look at Cornell's wife and others surrounding them. Wonder if there was any truth to that blackbook of names Cornell's wife sposedly' had.

Sad to hear. I remember listening to them quite a bit when I was an angsty 20 year old. Still have their debut CD around somewhere, but never got any more than that one.

Was he known to have had trouble with depression or anything? (I see the article mentions drug abuse.)

Either way around it its a sad thing all around.
