It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

I have downloaded the standalone downloader for Cyberpunk 2077 Phantom Liberty because i'm getting the E4 failure when I try to download it through GOG Galaxy and I'm not interested in the whole runaround of uninstalling and reinstalling Galaxy to see if that works.

My problem is that I don't have enough space on my C drive to create the temp installer it needs to run and I can't get it to install on any of the Hard Drives I have for that purpose. Is there any way I can make it so the first step of using the standalone installer isn't for it to compile the whole thing on a drive that can't hold it?

Edit: I have the files on my E drive. The game is on my F drive but I can't prevent it from trying to build the update on my C drive first. Any ideas?

I would suggest that you change your Windows %temp% and %tmp% folder locations and put them on a drive with enough free space left to allow the installer to carry out its operations.

In order to do that, press Win-key + R, input sysdm.cpl and press Enter.
Click on Advanced and then Environment Variables...
At the top of the window, you will see User variables for username, and underneath it, TEMP and TMP.
Double-click on either one and change the values from C:\...\....\temp to D:\Temp. Replace D: with the drive letter your system should use.

Remember to reboot your system for the settings to take effect!

Move the installer files to your E drive and specify the F drive as the installation path when running the downloader to avoid creating temporary files on your C drive.
Well that's interesting. I had tried changing the location of where the temp and tmp files installed but it didn't work. It would appear that I needed to restart the computer to get it acknowledged.

Thanks for the advice everyone, looks like everything is fine now.
