Hi guys,
like topic says I have no friends... I don`t know how to add any. I know I should type their email or nickname but I don`t know anybody on gog.
I tried to import some of my friends from steam, but they don`t use gog so I`m stuck.
I tried typing my country and countries around me in friend search but no results, guess I can`t find anybode that way.
Is there any other way to find someone?

I don`t play much MP games too old for that I`m afraid, mostly single player games, RPG, adventures but still it`s boring without any friends.
I don`t know if I should add some random people, just to make my activity more interesting.

If you have any suggestions I will be happy to read.

Anyway, thx all for any suggestion :)

I am not here to make friends, but enemies.

(That wise man was me, by the way.)

Okay, here's a friendship invite. I'm terrible at initiating conversations but will respond eventually if people talk to me first. However I can guarantee that when your stuff pops up in my activity feed, I will click on the little heart to help make your activity feed look interesting even if only to make the purple dot of doom go away.
I have a lot of trust issues in regards to randos online, which is why I almost never play online and if I do, it's usually as anonymous as possible.

But I feel the loneliness too, and I'm very judgmental, so I never reach out in case I end up disliking someone. I usually keep my profile private, but if you want to look through it and decide for yourself, I'll keep it public for a little while. My activity feed is just some old rants I feel are toxic, so if you end up deciding that's not for you, I will not blame you. But if you feel like chatting someone up once in a while, I'll be friendly.

I understand you perfectly. When I`m adding someone I always look his games what does he plays, are those the games I like or not, mostly because I don`t play mp games much and trying to avoid toxic communities.
But guys I added or accepted invitation like yourself play nice games, most them I like :) Thank you for trying to help :)

No problem, the world can feel like a lonely place despite having billions of people. The games I buy I've either played before and wished to revisit or otherwise wanted to play or were highly recommended and were on sale. Unfortunately, time is not on my side these days as opposed to my youth, so I am left with a library that will remain unplayed. You have a pretty eclectic mix of games yourself, a lot of which I've never even heard of. I always admire someone with a great horizon of taste.

You are most welcome. :)

And you literally have my most favorite PC game of all time (Neverwinter Nights Diamond Edition) in your library with zero hours played according your profile. It doesn't show up on my GOG profile only because I have the game from when it was released on cd-rom.

I haven`t played it that`s why it says zero hours. I think it was a giveaway from gog few years ago that is how I got it.
I`m really sorry that you don`t have it and it`s yours favorite game. Yeah I remember when that game came out it was such a great game we all played it, but it was so long ago, like you said via CD-ROM.
Do you want friends IRL or just online?

Online find people who are like-minded. Certainly in the genres of games. There's other forums and places to go to as well.

As for IRL, if you have no place to start i'd try joining a chess club, go to the local Gaming store. Find a local church you like and volunteer your time a few hours a week. Maybe work part time at the grocery store or a cafe where you're interacting with people.

Getting it out that you exist is the biggest obstacle to gaining friends.

You won't always have internet. Just throwing it out there. Honestly i find it far more fun and entertaining to meet up at our gaming store and play D&D every week vs when i was trying to do D&D online. That's my experience anyways.

It just feels like somethings missing when you interact purely via the internet. There's no presence, you can't split sharing pizza, talk about your day, share some beers, or impress with recently improved cooking skills.
