Hi!
First time encountering any issues with GOG.

I just bought a new SSD and so I tried to install both the software and Baldur's Gate 3 in the new drive. However, I'm getting this error when the download reaches aproximately 610mb. If I resume, sometimes the download advances a few more megabytes but then it fails again. I've tried uninstalling both again and cleaning registries, tried the workarounds I've found on this forums, also tried other drives but to no avail.

Then I tried the offline installer, but when I did, the size of the final installation is 250+gbs when the game is supposed to be around 140gb? To be clear, this is a separate folder than the original installation, so I have the download and the game folder for 250+126gb...? What? Kind of... Midly infuriating.

I bought BG3 about an hour ago and I'm getting this same behavior. I am hoping it's just something on gog's end.

I really think it is.

If I leave the download, instead of "frantically" trying to make it work, the download starts (and fails) every now and then, so my conclusion is that the issue is on GOG's server's end rather than your rig or mine. Time will tell :/
UPDATE:

It seemed to be on GOG's end. Something with their downloading server or whatever.
Two days without being able to download the game properly (tried downloading another game and that went flawless).
Today, tho, the download is going great and I'm only 1h away of giggling with Karlach again.
