-Darksiders II
-Deadly Premonition DC
-Dead Space

-Mirrors Edge
-Saints Row 2
-Ultima 3 (Amiga)

Metal Slug series are well known bad emulated ports, although probably be able to be used on a more accurate emulator.
- Metal slug 2 and GAROU: MARK OF THE WOLVES
- Saints Row 2
- Bioshock 2 remastered
What's wrong with Bioshock 2 remastered?
Deadly Premonition DC is a pretty bad port (but a great game!).
With a few fixes/tweaks and workarounds (check the subforum) I was able to finish it in 1440P without too many crashes.
Darksiders II.
Dead Space 1. Also a good game but a horrible port, but that's not limited to GOG. There are certain "fixes" for the game of course.

From a review here: https://www.gog.com/game/dragon_wars

Seriously download and play this on a Amiga Emulator :)

Games during that time had music and much better video there then on PC. Also true for the the Bards tale and the Gold Box games especially!
Dont have the game but AFAIK the general claim that Amiga versions were often better is true.

Both Bioshock 1 & 2 Remastered are significantly less stable than the originals for many people and the Unreal Engine 2 to 3 port was clearly buggier than it should have been. B2 Remastered constantly crashes against certain enemies, whilst B1 Remstered regularly crashes for many when doing simple things like activating the map. Playing the Classic versions fixes the instability crashes for a lot of people. This isn't GOG specific as the Steam versions fell all the way to "Mostly Negative" ratings for having the same problems over a year for which the devs just walked away from without fixing (then dumped them on GOG in the same unfixed state and again - walked away without patching them up). Check out the sub-forum here to see the many complaints:-

Ys VIII was pretty shit at release. Dunno if they ever fixed its issues, like some features of the consoles being completely absent from the PC version.

EDIT: Maybe I was thinking of Persona V for missing features. Still Ys was a shitshow at release.

It's way better now, had to force anti aliasing outside of the game though as the ingame option just does nothing, FXAA I believe.

I can't comment on performance though as a 2080 TI isn't very representative of what the majority would experience. Not sure which features you're referring to exactly.

There's no PC version of Persona 5. You probably meant Catherine.

I looked around, I don't know which port of which game I was thinking of. It was a FALCOM/NISA PC port, I only remember that much.

For some games, howver, the Amiga versions are not that good because of bugs.

In particular, the Amiga versions of the Bard's Tale games are best avoided. In BT1 and BT2, a bug gives bards the extra melee attacks that warriors are supposed to get, making warriors (who don't get those extra attacks) useless. The Amiga version of BT3, to my understanding, has many of the same bugs that are present in the DOS version, like one that prevents monsters from breathing fire or inflicting status ailments, that make these versions far less interesting than the Apple 2 and Commodore 64 versions. (At least the remaster is better, though it does have its quirks, and the version of BT3 included with the 2004 Bard's Tale game is actually the Apple 2 version.)

The Amiga version of Ultima 3 has a bad RNG (it's as if it's a simple counter, leading to streaks), and they also give Rangers the MP and MP regen that Druids get (but with INT and WIS checked in the other order), making Druids obsolete (though, unlike the BT1/BT2 example, Druids at least work properly).

I haven't tried the Amiga version of Dragon Wars, so I don't know if it has any bugs like these that make the game less enjoyable.

(On the other hand, I hear the DOS version of Pools of Darkness has a bug not present in the Amiga version that makes the final battle harder, as an otherwise useful magic item doesn't work properly.)

People should play any version of Dragon Wars they can get a hold of. It's a phenomenal game.
