^that ... and the thread is not about compatibility anyway (one can run DOS games on a rasperry pie too), but about ownership and/or DRM.
nal2us22: Inventory Game Additions.
Question:
How often does GOG update and add new games to their Inventory? 1. depends on the game. There is no reason to updated DOS games since they pretty much remain the same anyway. If DOSBox will ever get a new final release, they may replace update DOS Games to replace it.
They did that for example when ScummVM got a new major version that fixed some emulation bugs. Some games got the new VM, others which previously were not supported, were moved from DOSBox to ScummVM (it's just so much more comfortable and has more options).
I usually install my oldie games, then move the game data into a directory for all my DOS Games (or ScummVM games, depends), then uninstall it again. But just install and run works as well of course. This is just my personal preference. I like to have all my DOS and ScummVM games in one place.
You can check the update history of your games here:

2. Constantly. Every couple of days we get new games here, sometimes newer ones, sometimes older ones, it really depends on what they can get their hands on. We just got a few new Piko oldies for example.

Of course, given there is no charge to having a GoG account, I always find it surprising when people want to delete their accounts.

Of course no one can stop this person from doing it, but I think all licences are bound to the account and not to the person.

But if you wanted to download them again by creating a new account, that would not be possible,

It's always nice to see someone come to the realization and be reminded of why we all came to GOG in the first place.

Are the games yours? No, they are mine! I just have you download and keep them for me on a perpetual life-time loan. *evil laughter*
Of course they're yours, that's the whole point of having offline DRM-free installers.
