Is lenovo a good manufacturer for laptops particularly?

wige ?
and why are they hated anyway ?

not to astroturf for lenovo but almost every big company has units that are loathed ( the infamous powerbook 5300 comes to mind now )
Lenovo is supposed be a premium brand.

But recently i have seen some very 'budget' lines that are just rubbish and i am shocked to see the brand Lenovo on it.... but you know, your getting what you pay for, so if its cheap, then its cheap!, so just be careful.
Two weeks ago I purchased a secondhand T410. It is fast, great for browsing/office work but not good for gaming of course (unless you play 2d stuff such as classic point & clicks which is great). Awesome keyboard, good screen (view angle isn't very good though), Windows 7 worked like a charm (although I ditched them the next day, in favor of Linux), overall great value for the money. Not sure about the newer Lenovos if that's what you're asking though.
Just be sure to do your due diligence before buying one...

Lenovo Computers Vulnerable to HTTPS Spoofing
That is interesting about crapware..... but its like drugs in sport - everyone does it, but few push it to the point of being detectable.
I own 2 Lenovos. They're not too bad. Lenovo (a Chinese company) bought out IBMs laptop division, so they are kind of the reincarnation of IBM. Not as good as IBM, but not too bad for the price.

I own one and its decent for the price that I paid for it (500).
honest answer = no
Thanks for all the input!

Well i saw a laptop with good specs, which are the following :

i7 5500U
4GB Ram
15.6'' Screen
AMD RADEON R5 M330 2GB
1 TB HDD @ 5.400RPM
W10

for 508 euro.

It's a G50-80.
Do they have shitty keyboards or something shitty? It's a pretty good price to be true...

Obviously it's not headed for gaming. Mostly surfing, music, a few light applications and maybe a 720p movie.

What do you think?
^ go for it
Sounds like an okay laptop for what you plan it for. I have a Lenovo Y70-70 and it had some problems, like shutting down when gaming (likely due to overheating) and the touch screen acting up (producing inputs even when it wasn't being touched). Also took me time to adjust to the keyboard, and I still don't really like it, but I don't hate it as much. Also the touch screen hasn't acted up for a while and the combination of not gaming and limiting frame rate in NVIDIA's control panel seems to help with the shutdowns.

In general, for what you want pretty much everything will work. In fact I think you could go for something really cheap like this.

I don't know, but if you go for it expect sluggy performance because of the HDD. Also the videocard is a joke, the RAM is on the low side and the screen is a crappy TN one with awful viewing angles and terrible color/contrast shift when you move an inch from the optimum viewing position.
Personally I wouldn't buy it.
