In honor of April Fool's Day, I've decided to host a giveaway, but as there's been a series of numbered giveaways, I've decided do one that *isn't* numbered.

For this one, you can choose the game, but there's a catch: The price of the game, as it appears in the US, must *not* contain any numbers or digits. So, if a game costs $9.99 (for example), that game is not allowed because of the 9's in its price, since 9 is a number.

(Worth noting, games with a price of TBA are also ineligible because they can't be purchased, not even as a gift.)

Anyway, if you want to enter the game, say which game you want (within the requirement stated above), and answer the following question:

What is your favorite April Fool's Day joke from past years?

Even though I can't really enter this giveaway, I'll answer the question: My favorite, I think, is when Google Maps added a mode where the graphics where done in a style similar to the original Dragon Quest/Warrior. So, how about yours?

(You don't need to enter this joke giveaway if you just want to answer or discuss the question.)
The prospect of buying a game without a price-tag reminds me of the time a coupon allowed me to give a can of tuna to a charity to watch a movie, I chose Inception.
Games Workshop has a tradition of making gag posts for April Fools.
One of them was left handed paintbrushes, complete with a tutorial on how to use them where every step was "just use your left hand"..

I might have chortled.

The current gag post is them advertising a literal warhammer for weightlifting purposes.

If you got a auto translator in your browser, check this :)

Elon Musk buys Steam

From the past years, one of my favourite was this one:

Also awesome
GameCheatEngine offering ingame currency.

The best aspect about it: If you actually tried to click one of the "buy" buttons, you would get an error message that it was not possible to buy because a cheat program was running.

Mine is the limited edition MINI Hipster Hatch that had special features like Instagram filtered windows, twin deck cassette player, denim upholstery, and a top speed of 25 mph.

There wasn't just a press release for the thing. They actually stuck it on the MINI website as if this was something that was actually going to be available for purchase in the near future.
I think EGM's Sheng Long reveal may be one the best and most important April Fool's jokes.

My all-time favorite April Fools' joke was the EGM Sheng Long one. I know I'm not the only one who feels that way.

Hello dtgreene and everyone else!

A graceful "April Fool's Day" joke that I did enjoy was from the Youtube musician "Dan Vasc".
He does vocal covers of various bands and songs in classic heavy metal style.

Here is the link to his April Fool's Day joke, aptly named "I Give Up Making Videos". You can see, how he must have enjoyed recording this video! =)

Kind regards,
