Just something I've been wondering, since I can't think of such a game.
Basically, the requirements are as follows:
* The game has to recognizably be an RPG. In particular, the criterion I like to use is that the success or failure of an action (for example, hitting an enemy with a physical attack) is determined by the character's abilities (and possibly dice rolls/RNG), not the player's skill.
* The game has to recognizably be a WRPG, not a JRPG. Note that this is based on the style of the game, not where it was developed.
* The game should not be a roguelike, either.
* If the game has a predefined main character, that character must be female.
* On the other hand, if the game has a player-created main character, then either the game must only allow you to create a female main character, or the main character must be canonocally female judging from later works. (For example, if there's a novelization of the game's events, or if the game's protagonist is referenced, in any way, in a sequel or spin-off, that character has to be female.)
* It has to be the *main* character; sidekicks, even if they're prominent mandatory party members, don't count.
Any games like this?
