There are a lot of games I hold in high regard but if I had to say my one single favorite game at a gunpoint, I would probably say Blood. It manages to swipe the victory from Doom 2 and Return to Castle Wolfenstein by a very small margin.
Doom 2.

ccombs1993: What is all time favorite game?
Sorry, but that question is unanswerable for me...I hold several games in the highest regards.
Impossible to choose one over the other(s).
Unreal Tournament GOTY.
Okami.

It sealed my lifelong love for both wolves and video games.
The story is awesome, the soundtrack is epic and the graphics are unique.

I still have the original PS2 copy somewhere and I bought the HD remake as soon as it came out.
If it ever makes it on GOG I wouldn't mind paying full price for a DRM-free copy.

P.S. Why is this a "problem/question" topic?
Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines. The love of my life. The game that feels like home to me. Played it like 15 times with both genders from each clan, played it with all available mods. Although I basically know every line and every quest, it is still so much fun to revisit once a year.

Dragon's Dogma Dark Arisen.

Prior to playing Dragon's Dogma, I mainly played military shooters and history-related games; I didn't care for fantasy games at all -- in fact giving up on a playthrough of Skyrim. But for some strange reason, I was drawn to Dragon's Dogma -- mainly because the world looked so "real" and lived-in compared to the bright, colorful, and extravagant high fantasy of something akin to World of Warcraft. The atmosphere, AI companions, creature designs (and behaviors), and survival nature of the game won me over. Nowadays I'm sitting at a desk below a framed Dragon's Dogma poster and searching far and wide for another fantasy experience to match it.
Mine is: Phantasy Star Online; I don't mind playing online with consoles.
Still play it at times on silverant.
Speedball 2 on the old Amiga computer (Yes i'm old!)
