God, love you guys to death because you have provided me the ability to play games I purchased in the fucking 80s. I still have the 3.5" and 5.25" floppies but, without you guys, I couldn't relive my teen years.

I know you guys need to make money, I know. Still, these microtransactions and the encouragement of suck just pisses me off. I was actually looking at other games whenever the suggested microtransactions popped up; Additional Content For Your Games. I never realized how insulting it was until just now.

It makes me regret buying the "original" content. Not because I'm missing out on the extras, but because you guys are trying to charge me almost as much for the soundtrack or extra goodies which should have been included anyway.

I'll still buy your games because of the DRM free status but, OMG, guys, you were better than this once. You had a vision but $$ has blurred your vision, it seems.

Fuck, guys, release a game with all the content for $20.00 instead of $5.99 and I, as I'm sure many fans, will pay the $20 for everything rather than spend another $10 later for, practically, nothing.

Maybe I'm the exception, but If I buy a game for $20 bucks, I'm damn sure not going to give you another $10 for just the soundtrack.

GOG, listen to your fans.
Don't buy the soundtrack then.

I find the soundtrack prices too high as well.
And they usually hardly ever go below a 30% discount.

Even worse, deluxe collections often only go to 20-30% discount due to the soundtrack included, which affects also the base game price. That makes the price gap between base game and deluxe even bigger when they are discounted, often more than the undiscounted extras.
In many cases it's cheaper to buy the base game and the extras separatly, but then of course the deluxe edition won't show as owned.
I am going to go out on a limb and say that the soundtrack is more often than not, really not worth getting ... at any price ... not to listen to as music anyway ... or even just to have a kind of atmosphere in your room or house.

That said, I have checked out many that did come up in sales quite cheap, for only a couple of bucks or less, and knocked back at least 50 percent of them even at that price, after checking the tracks out on youTube or Bandcamp or Soundcloud etc.

Many folk don't care about soundtracks for instance and some other DLC, so it is certainly great to be able to buy a game cheaper, because they are not included.

With soundtracks you are often dealing with music rights, which can involve a third party who will want a royalty and can have a minimum limit for that. So a game provider cannot just give the soundtrack away for free, because it will still cost them, and they are in the business of making money not losing it.

Despite how that might sound, I am certainly not a fan of the many many overpriced DLCs here at GOG, and no doubt at other game stores. It is often a rort to be sure ... milking us to death. I genuinely hate how ridiculous it gets with their prices a lot of the time. I don't mind them making some money for their efforts, but they just try to steal us blind much of the time.

That sixth paragraph would have looked really great as the second or the third paragraph.
