I'd personally love to be able to see the web downloaders. But I'm probably a minority. I'm just putting in my two cents.

So if you should in fact rework the script once again could you please take the version I "updated" version as a starting pont so these changes won't get lost? Thank you.

So far for me everything is still working fine but yes, web installers are basically invisible which I really don't mind at all - but that's just me ;)

Regarding obsolete options I might (not sure about it) also remove them if we are talking about removing checkboxes only and if this works in a similar way as adding/removing the "show Polish forum" feature. Of course I would not interfere with your work - it's just a friendly meant offer.

Don't worry, I made a start on it this morning. A fix shouldn't be too complicated. I'll replace the current Classic Installer option with one to hide the web installers so people have the choice.
Thanks for the offer but I've made a start already, and I've already incorporated the bits you did. I've been struggling a bit to find a game to play in my down time so might as well spend the time doing something productive.

Still quite busy at the moment so no promises when it will be done but hopefully shouldn't be too long.

I posted every time that bug I was experiencing cropped up and every time it went away. I have no idea what was causing it, but it's been gone for quite a while now. I just wanted to point out that I didn't give up on posting about it.

I did wonder, glad it sorted itself out... Still no idea what was causing it though XD

Just want to say thanks again adaliabooks for all the work you put into this. I sometimes forget what a difference Adalia Fundamentals (and Barefoot Essentials) makes to using this site. I've got my links set to downloader links, so all the furore over changing Galaxy and classic download links has sort of passed me by unnoticed.

Is there a way to fix the issue shown in the attachment? I am unable to reach the lower pop up menu items.

A Wild Update Appeared!

I've incorporated MarkoH01's excellent work (note the correct spelling of his username), fixed the option to disable sending chat messages when pressing Enter (which I'd done before dropping off work on the script last year but never got around to pushing it as the chat still needed loads of work, and still does) and added an option to hide the web installers.

Have only barely tested it, but there's nothing to major so hopefully there shouldn't be any issues.

Yeah, I intended to add a send button and rework a lot of the old options to fit the new layout but never got around to it before losing motivation.
No promises but I might look at finishing that now that I'm feeling a bit more like programming again.

No worries; the Enter key was my biggest gripe, I can live with the rest, especially since I hardly ever use chat any more.



That may well have to do with the latest BE version which disabled the collapsible footer; I didn't update to that version exactly because of this, and don't have the issue (the drop down menu opens over the footer).
