My email account got compromised and thus as did my gog account as the hacker changed the email address associated with the account. I have submitted a ticket recieved an initial response and it has now been almost 24 hrs with no follow up. Is there no other way to reach out to GOG so they can at least lock the account, other than by submitting support tickets or if an admin see's this can you put me in contact with someone?

You're going to have to wait a bit. The staff usually takes a day or two to get back to you anyways if not longer, and they don't reply on weekends.
