for one thing people probably assume that you're setting up a scam. For another thing, I'm pretty sure this would violate forum rules.

yeah I was going to post that many would view it as spam, but I clicked post too quickly

From what i recall, links such as that aren't permitted, mostly down to how it could open up the floodgates so to speak on others doing similar.

Honestly, a mod should have came in already to clarify this by now, but hopefully i gave you something of an insight .

If you want to post such at my offsite pages, note that I have a reasonably read(though not replied to much) offtopic thread on quicktopics where you can link it(as I don't have such rules in place and forum goers sometimes visit it). In addition to posting it there you could also try some various subreddits(dunno their names though) as well and see if that gets any notice. :)
