Trading has been very tiresome so far, as I've had to add caps individually, rather than adding by tens or twenties. Is there a way to speed up this sluggish process? Any help would be appreciated.

Just type in the number of caps you want to move around when bartering.

My gosh, thank you. I feel like an absolute idiot right now, sorry to waste your time.

No problem at all; I had the same problem for the longest time myself :)

Fastest way I've found is to hold down the [9] key while dragging caps. Then just click the done button and repeat. Keep holding [9] the whole time.

Me too... can't believe I've been busting my fingers and there could be a better and easier explanation for this... xD

There's even a mod that lets you play Fallout 1 in the Fallout 2 engine, with all the QoL benefits, including the extra digit in the bartering window for caps. :)

I believe the story, events and quests should all still be the same. (don't quote me though lol)

Fallout1in2 (also called Fallout Et Tu)
