Hi there,

I'm sure, I'm not the only one with that problem, but nothing I tried worked. I wanted to play Fallout 3 again. But whenever I start, the only thing activated is Mothership Zeta. When I do activate the other things, The Pit and Point Lookout boot up, but neither Broken Steel nor Operation Anchorige. The download button is greyed out when I start the game. That too, I can't change. I'm using Windows 11. If you need any more details please ask. Does anyone have a simmilar problem?

It's been a while since I played Fallout 3 and I don't see what could be causing this but just to be sure :

1 - When you open the launcher, in "Data Files", are the DLCs checked? Be careful if your game is modded, in certain cases it seems that opening the launcher can reset certain parameters in .ini files.

2 - In the App Data folder, you should have a Fallout 3 folder with a .txt file that lists all the DLCs.
Are the DLCs that do not activate present in this .txt file?
Is this .txt read-only or not?

Otherwise, sometimes a reinstallation of the game could solve the problem.
Remember to make a backup of your saves and also delete the Fallout 3 folder in AppData then reinstall the game properly.

Hi there,

no, every time I exit, the only thing that is checked is Mothership Zeta. I can check all the other DLCs and the Main Game in the Launcher, but whenever I exit, it doesn't stick. Also Operation Anchorage and Broken Steel don't load at all, even when I check them. All the DLCs are present in the folder, so I don't get it.
