Starkrun: They released a hotfix for PS4 because they completely corrupted the game for them in 1.5 and it couldn't launch that's it... Some how it affected us on PC and this hotfix they refuse to talk about is now apart of our lives. Steam also got a fix that was only a few GB not many changed files at all.

Once again we are treated like second hand citizens. GOG is CDP so why are they doing this to us?

Every time a game is patched I have to input my password for EVERY DLC the game has.
For some games I have to type that password 8+ times. TO UPDATE A GAME!!!

Steam doesn't ask once! Just updates the game.

Then we have "hotfixes" like this one where a "HOTFIX" requires you to download the ENTIRE game!
Not on Steam though!!!

Right now GOG does EVERYTHING WRONG and is ABSOLUTELY INFERIOR to Steam!!!!
Until they fix this piece of **** they call GOG am only buying on Steam from now on!

BTW I contacted support about the password thing. They don't see any problems with that!

I am staying on Patch 1.5 and ignore the hotfix!
The game was just updated 3 days ago at 68GB now another 60 plus GB update WTF GOG.

Yeah OK don't really care whose fault it is but I am uninstalling.

Game was fairly mediocre anyway, and it is completely unreasonable to push 60+GB updates every few days. Sort it out, or don't. Beyond caring right now. Maybe give it a look next year.

Yeah, I'm going to hold fire for now to see if we get clarification on what this update is, exactly. Also whether the 62gb size is accurate, or if it's in actuality much lower (ala the Steam 10gb update).

If it is genuinely another 62gb download, literally a day or two after the c.50gb 1.5 patch, then I'll also just bin the game off and uninstall. I don't mind the game, but simply can't be arsed with multiple patches of these sizes in such quick succession.

So, I'm not alone with this happening. After the huge 1.5 update, I didn't think we'd need another 60Gb+ patch.

Since the "hotfix" is just re-installing the whole game again, just uninstall first and redownload the game instead.

But that said this is completely unacceptable, pushing a hotfix that requires a full download and with no fucking patch notes. I hope this at least is going to fix the random "corrupted files" crash I was getting even after verifying my files.

can't confirm. For me it's running normally after the patch. Just don't know what changed and what was worth downloading 62 GB
