How do I load an old manual save?

I've saved just before one of the in-game choices and played out what happens, but I want to jump back into the old save and play out the other way.

I've navigated to the game files on my PC, gone to one of my manual saves but I can't get it to load into the game.

If I try "load game" from the in-game menu it only lists my last 20 or so autosaves which is about 4 hours play time past the point I want to be at.

I've tried running it with the games shortcut on my desktop, I've tried with REDprelauncher but no luck so far.

Anybody have any ideas? I don't want to put another 40 hours up until this in-game choice.

UPDATE: I've got it working, you just have to delete enough autosaves to clear the queue and it'll show in the queue. It was so obvious!
