… so, I do it here

The graphics do show their age, but maybe I raise the bar a bit too high. Maybe.
One issue are the characters. They are forgettable and it's very hard to build a relationship with them, with few exceptions. 'V' has that terrible brutforced voice over "please like me". 'V' should have been from the get-go on par with Adam Jensen from Deus Ex, or Joel Badass from the Last of us. Why to create such a weak protagonist is beyond me.

The tremarkable open world of Night City is a gem and leaves you hours of exploring the dark and wicked parts of this Cyberpunk environment. CD Red dit a fantastic job. 100%

The controls feel solid. The interasctions and button combos don't make sense at time and can be frustratingly overcomplicated especially for people with motoric disabilities. This makes Cyberpunk to the most unfriendly game and should be played by people without any disabilities. A game pad can help, but not everyone does have a gamepad or can use one. Big MINUS

The Story is only a bonus and feels detached. I personally got more story out of Mass Effect, Deus Ex and the Last of us. I thought I get something similar with Cyberpunk.

Cyberpunk remains a disappointment.
The 'game' should have been called 'Kosher Utopia - Weimar Edition'.

Made by (((polaks))), the poor man's Russian.
high rated
You fail to demonstrate how they're "afraid of ratings;" they're not stopping customers from rating. You should stop projecting how you want them to feel; it's pathetic.

MEDS!
What ratings do you think they're afraid of? There's a couple dozen of pages of reviews for the ultimate edition and nearly 2000 pages of reviews for the base edition of Cyberpunk 2077... and the review voted most helpful on the base edition is a fairly scathing 2-star review!

Also, the whole premise of you even posting your review here in the forums is basically straight-up misinformation (potentially disinformation) because your user review is clearly posted on the Cyberwar 2077 Ultimate Edition page and is readily visible on first page of reviews when sorted by most recent: https://www.gog.com/en/game/cyberpunk_2077_ultimate_edition

Finally, where's a report button when you need it? The first reply in this thread is straight-up racism and arguably a Code of Conduct violation.
i cannot tell if you are ragebaiting or just genuinely stupid???????

this """review""" is so misinformed and wrong on multiple levels that i genuinely have to ask? did you ever finish the game? cause your perception of V is very misguided, and the game isn't trying to be deus ex(? another weird thing to bring up). you can rebind your controls buddy, so your disability can be accommodated by yourself. also saying that the story is the weakest part is fumble of the century how did you not get it?

also go on the games page on gog and leave a rating??
they stole half their stories in any case.. some of us wrote what mike pondsmith screen capped.
The game isn't bad, they fixed it & it's optimized.

Maybe everyone have their opinions

Some people don't like the game

And some people like it

i personally love it

cyperpunk is the best after the patches... they improved it

i just wish i could phantom liberty on 1.5.
they "optimized" the fun out of the game. so many decisions that can only be explained by the person in charge thinking "i want this game boring, not fun"

I miss my 2 Million damage Nekomata before they reworked the damage system completely. And that happening post-patch 1.5 sounds about right.

I also miss the old Skill Tree, like maxing out 2 trees like Intelligence + Technical Ability (the "Crafting Hacker") in classic RPG-style, depending on preferred playstyle. The current system feels more like a hot mess, with no difference between the playstyles. At least the playstyles in the old system felt different from each other.

And the things that really makes Cyberpunk 2077 feel alive, they have pretty much left 4 dead: the NPCs. With driving being a good part of the game, the AI traffic is clueless. And the 100 % rude pedestrians makes me want to shoot them.

So much for the promised "real life simulator" they talked about prior to release. They really nerfed the whole game for everyone to meet that Playstation 4 system requirement...

Honestly, same. I was on about my 3rd playthrough (plus starting over a few times due to patches and mods breaking), and updated to 2.0 after purchasing Phantom Liberty (and later 2.1), but keeping my current character as I was in the last part of the main game at this point.

While the main quests were fine (though I inadvertently managed to find the secret ending immediately due to a bug - with more bugs reported in the expansion), the Phantom Liberty quests were so open I found myself using walkthrough to A) get the optimal outcome and B) how to not break the quests due to...well, did I mention bugs?

But the tech tree rework was arguably reworked so much, I could not longer understand the perks actually did. And with the cyberware limit (which I very quickly raised with a character editior), the whole thing just felt bland and boring. And with feeling the need to use an editor just to play the game the way I wanted made me lose interest in the whole thing quite quickly.

I still haven't finished the expansion. Am about halfway. All I know is that I will screw over Songbird every time when I get the choice. She hacks me, banishes Johnny after we finally start seeing things eye to eye, basically ordering me to do as she tells me, and gives zero help when I could actually need it, and only gives me vague promises of saving my life in the end. And if she properly wanted to manipulate me, there should be a romance option - which there isn't.

As they said on Reddit regarding the choice to help either Reed or Songbird:
"Reed is a bro. Songbird has a nice butt."

And Judy has a better butt, so the choice is already made.
