My SSD died so i got and installed a new one in my laptop (13980HX, 4090, 64GB Ram, Samsung 990 Pro 4TB).

Installed this game and now it crashes before even loading up. I've uninstalled and reinstalled the game, uninstalled and reinstalled C++ redist, checked file integrity, ran from .exe instead of launcher.

170 hours on game before new SSD.

All other games and apps work completely fine.

Please any help would be great. This is very frustrating.

You're not even getting in the menu? This is probably a Windows 11 + "latest Nvidia driver" case.
With a new SSD, I'm guessing this is a fresh Windows install as well? And if it's not, and the Windows install is untouched, is the game installed at exactly the same location it was before?

I've said it before, Cyberpunk 2077 is really too complicated for its own good at this point, with all the fancy artificial upscalers and hardware feature support (XeSS, FSS, RT etc.), Windows P/E-core scheduler and so on. There is just too much that can go wrong.

Honestly, I would say get a .torrent for game version 2.1. My modded 2.1 install with Windows 10 and GeForce driver 531.97 has been working perfectly. Only time that has been crashing was when my dumb self was trying to mod the game with mods I eventually noticed said in bold text "does not work with 2.1".

Other than that, try run the game as Admin and in windowed mode.

My game opens the second CDPR page, then when I click plan, it closes, tries to sync, the stops. My rig is working fine, and my drivers are up to date. My other games start just fine.
