RTX 3060 12GB

In latest update even with ray tracing off, i cant get constant 60 fps in crowded areas (town centre) at 1080p, turning CROWD DENSITY from high to med improve performance a lil bit but sometimes fps still dips to below 50 even. Does new update require more CPU power since there is updated AI functionality?
Anyone else with rtx 3060, what FPS u guys getting and which settings should I adjust? TQ

i7 8700K, RTX 3080, 1440p resolution.

I was using DLSS Quality with almost everything to max/ultra, include RT Psycho setting and I had over 60 FPS almost everywhere, with driving, walking. Usually more, around 65.. Now I have 50 to 60 top and it is quite noticeable
Maybe the npc's update really affects the fps. Before the update, every time you turn around the crowd behind will be gone, now the with the update, the crowd don't disappear anymore so I guess that has heavy effect on fps?
Mh, performance seems to have improved a bit for me over time. In the city center I get 50-60 FPS with
ultra ray tracing and DLSS quality @ 1080p in most places,
tho in the most extreme case it can drop to around 40 FPS (like in the area around the holographic fish, with rain. It's a GPU limit tho in my case.
EDIT: Ok, lowest so far was actually inside Afterlife, at 25-30 fps, but it's fine since it's a cinematic sequence without action.

Specs:
Ryzen 7 5800X (it's considerably more powerful than the i5-8400 or even the i7-8700K, but my CPU only reaches a utilization of about 50 % with crowd density on high)

RTX 2070 Super (about 10 % faster than an RTX 3060)

32 GB of DDR4-3200

installed on SSD.

RTX 3070, Rysen 3700x, DDR4 16 GB. M.2 SSD. 1080p and DLSS.

I've noticed that frame rate is inconsistent too also, there are a lot of streaming issues with NPCs being rendered low poly and stay like that even when you get closer, didn't have this issue before.

I also noticed some engine bugs when you change graphics settings, GPU usage goes to 100% and of course FPS go down. This also happened when switching menus, like going into the inventory. The only fix for this is to return to the main menu and reloading the save. All of this is easily replicable.
Specs: GTX 1080TI, Ryzen 7 5800X, 16GB ram.

Used to get 50-60 fps at 1440p on the previous version on all ultra settings (obviously with RTX off because 1080ti) and back then I had a much older CPU. Now I get 30 fps at the same settings 1440p, tried lowering the settings to absolute lowest and still got an average of 40 fps, cannot hit 60 fps at all anymore. Task manager shows my CPU usage at roughly around 20% and my GPU at.... 1%. This is even after forcing the game to use my GPU.
Ryzen 5800x
Zotac RTX 3080

Previously with Ray Tracing ON set to Ultra and DLSS set to Quality - around 80fps
Now with Ray Tracing ON set to Ultra and DLSS set to Quality - around 60fps

CDPR, if you're reading this, THE GAME LOOKS WAY BETTER AND LESS GLITCHY, I AM NOT SURPRISED I'M GETTING A HIT IN FRAMERATE. Do NOT give in and DO NOT lower the quality of your game!

The game looks better, of course it will run worse. And that is OKAY. I am willing to take a hit. If they can improve the framerate without touching the overall graphical fidelity, sure, go for it. But if improving performance menas DOWNGRADE, then I'm against it.
RTX 2080
i7 10700

Yes i have a similar problem. after running through crowded areas like the Marketplace behinde Toms Diner my FPS tanks and stays low, even when i leave that area my FPS will stay way lower. until i reload a savegame

something is clearly broken/buggy.

I tried different graphical settings and it turned out that the game takes 20fps hit no matter what I set it to. RTX on or off, FSR, DLSS, the game just lost 20fps.

Additionally, I noticed that LOD got even worse than before. Some textures never load their full resolution versions, some objects never load their full polygon count versions either. I can stand right next to a poster on the wall and it will stay blurry indefinitely. That happens to a lot of different objects. Today I noticed that some food objects switch to their low-poly versions if I so much as move my camera slightly! And I'm standing right next to them! I can't even get any closer to them!

There is something very strange going on here. At first I thought that the game just looks better overall, but the longer I play, the more graphical issues I find.

I have a 2070RTX and it was horrible until I updated my GPU driver to 511.79 after that I was able to turn on all the new RTX lightning medium and DLSS on Quality without dipping below 30FPS prior to that I was crashing into the single digits depending on how many lights were in the environment.

I also noticed after a long session i needed to close the game out and re open it and performance came back.
Same problem here

Win 11 21h2
32Gb Ram
Ryzen 7 3700x
RTX 3080
Nvidia driver 511.79

Previously with Ray Tracing ON set to Ultra and DLSS set to Balanced - around 80fps
Now with Ray Tracing ON set to Ultra and DLSS set to Balanced - around 50fps

I always let GeForce Experience settings but now i cant play with only 50fps... CDPR Please you must fix this T_T
